UMHS preschool programs provide quality early learning experiences through fun, engaging, and safe environments that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Our programs serve the whole family and child through robust wraparound services in the areas of mental & physical health, family services & nutrition. Staff support parents/caregivers to be courageous leaders and a voice for all of early learning. Together, parents, staff & children will create a future that holds space for everyone, honors what each person brings to the table, & allows for all to thrive.

Family Services focuses on supporting the families we serve and partnering with them as they go through a variety of difficult situations. Family Advocates work with their assigned families to support them in all aspects of their lives while their children are in our program.

UMHS health component is committed to promoting and supporting the healthy growth and development of children through a variety of services ranging from early childhood health screenings, assisting families with enrolling in Oregon Health Plan and system navigation, and mental health promotion to support positive peer interaction.
