Call Child Care Resource & Referral at 1-800-559-5878 and sign up to
attend a Family Child Care Overview Session. At this session you will be
given all of the forms and information regarding the registration process.
Complete the mandatory training requirements of First Aid, Infant Child
CPR, Food Handler Certification and Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and
Neglect.
Complete registration and Criminal History Registry Forms and mail them to
the Child Care Division along with a non-refundable fee.
Once the Child Care Division processes your application, they will assign
a Family Child Care Specialist to meet with you in your home. The
specialist will conduct an on-site health and safety review. The review
will ensure that the provider is in compliance with the rules related to
health, safety and sanitation.
