Cassandra Teal was awarded October 2011 “Volunteer of the Month” from Umatilla
Morrow County Head Start. Cassandra has performed a variety of tasks for our
Milton-Freewater Center. She assisted as a bus monitor several times this past
few months and has volunteered on numerous occasions in the classroom assisting
teachers. Cassandra also went out of her way to pick apples and instruct the
students on the health benefits of apples and other fruits. A special thanks to
Cassandra Teal for her enthusiasm and dedication to early childhood education in
the Milton-Freewater community.
