Teacher/Program Manager - Grant County/John Day

Teamwork - Wendy has been very helpful and supportive of me in my new position as a home visitor this year. She has taught me how to keep a file, what information needs to be included and where it is to be filed. She has helped make my new position easier to understand and carry out.

Leadership - Wendy is a good example for staff as the only other employee in the Grant County program. She also acquired a new position as program manager this year. Our program has had significant changes this year, with doing a home based program and renovating our new site, Wendy has had added to her job several other tasks that require extra time. She handles those tasks professionally and patiently.

Outstanding performance for the month nominated - The building renovation is almost complete. Wendy has worked beyond her realm of knowledge to contact contractors, carry out requests and do what has been asked of her by the building

manager for this project. She has been helpful to the building manager at the home office, helpful to the administrator at our new site and to the families in our program by keeping the project moving and staying with the time line of the project.
