Congratulations Melissa Keefer!!!

Teacher - Boardman Center

Team work - Melissa has been a big help to the new family advocate and helps to relieve stress by sharing her great sense of humor. Melissa goes out of her way to acknowledge her team members and make them feel like as a valued team member.

Leadership - Melissa stood up and took on a leadership role while the team leader was absent. She worked with staff and was able to come up with a coverage planned that followed licensing regs and kept staff at a consistent schedule. It was very much appreciated that she problem solved with the team before calling the Ed Director to discuss and get approval for the coverage plan.

Outstanding performance for the month nominated - Melissa not only worked with her team to solve a complicated coverage problem at Boardman, she was able to get all her work done with limited pull out time. She has been very positive and has made a huge effort to be part of the Boardman team.  Most importantly, rather than waiting for someone else to solve the coverage problem, Melissa took initiative and lead her team to a solution.

Melissa was a huge help to her manager while she was out on personal leave. When

she returned to work, she continued to help her manager by stepping up to the plate and figuring out coverage issues before going to her for approval. She has worked hard to be part of the Boardman team and she has helped new staff feel welcomed and valued.

Thank you Melissa!!!
