Congratulations Sece Ortiz!!!

TA/Bus Monitor - Milton-Freewater I&II

Teamwork: Sece is a positive influence for our team.  She accepts challenges with a smile and completes the in a timely manner.  Sece is constantly thinking of great activities and new ideas for center themes.  She creates the most engaging environments as well.  Sece does not know the meaning of being idle.  When her duties are completed, she looks for cleaning or reorganizing tasks.  If a parent needs to talk, she steps in and takes over whatever other staff are doing at the time.  When her center is short staffed, she gladly pitches in.  Her attitude exudes pride in her work.  She is a joy to work with!

Leadership: Sece is conscientious about increasing her skills.  She requested to take on one circle time per week.  Her activities are well planned and engaging.  After it was learned that teacher's assistants can help with debriefing about children's goals, she eagerly took on six of the children in her classroom to observe and write notes about.  Her notes are very thorough and detailed.  Sece will gladly pass on any information to parents on her bus route and relays information back to me right away.

Outstanding Performance for the Month Nominated: Sece was concerned of past poor attendance for conferences.  She hand made beautiful reminders out of fancy paper and ribbon.  Her site had 100% attendance this month!  The move to Grove took place over the summer and things were placed out of the way.  Sece has taken on the job of cleaning out and organizing the materials, which is not an easy task!

Thank you Sece!!!
