Congratulations Matt Vansickle!!! Teacher Assistant - Pendleton EHS
Teamwork: Matt became an assistant two years ago with only the basic knowledge of early childhood development. Today he received his CDA certificate. He has a positive attitude, always striving to learn more and improve his knowledge of early childhood development. He is energetic, loves to engage the children in play, and works hard at helping the classroom run smoothly. Matt’s work ethics are exceptional and is a benefit to PEHS. He has been a positive male role model to the children, teen volunteers and parents.
Leadership: Matt is very willing to change his schedule to accommodate the needs of the classroom and staff. His eagerness to learn, contribute and participate is commendable. The children get so excited when he comes into the classroom. He is constantly looking, thinking or discussing ways to add to the classroom. He finds unique items, music, and books to enhance their learning. He is a breath of fresh air and helps us remember why we work with children. Outstanding Performance for the Month Nominated: Outstanding Performance for the Month: This month Matt has been taking classes and trainings at BMCC to earn associates in Early Childhood. His motivation and eagerness to expand his knowledge weather it is at work or home is inspiring.
