Congratulations Ana Reynaud!!!

Teamwork: Ana is very supportive to her team members.  She makes herself aware of what is happening in the classroom so she can communicate important events to parents, as well as being mindful of how a family’s situation can affect the child in the classroom and conveying that to classroom personnel.  Ana keeps communication flowing between staff and parents by authoring a monthly newsletter that goes home to parents.  In addition, Ana has tremendously improved the agency’s presence at Riverside High School by going out of her way to find activities she can be involved in.  In addition, Ana has been incredibly helpful to her fellow family advocates by picking up the Spanish recruitments in Hermiston and assisting the Hermiston folks to get caught up on recruitments in general.  Ana does not leave her responsibility to families after recruitment, she attended every center’s open house this year in the communities she recruits for (all of Morrow County) and she continues to be a presence throughout the year at all of these centers.

Leadership: As well as being a leader at the center, Ana is an example in the community.  She volunteers regularly for Domestic Violence Services and is always available to help out with extra projects such as Festival of Trees or the Christmas Express program.  Ana sought out the Christmas Express program organizers in Morrow County and then volunteered to assist them in organizing it.  She has also taken it upon herself to work with area employers to familiarize them with the services UMCHS offers and how that can benefit them as an employer.  Ana acts as the agency representative to the Chamber of Commerce in Boardman as well.

Outstanding Performance for the

Month Nominated: In November, Ana took
responsibility for coordinating focus groups
at Riverside High School as part of the

Community Assessment process.  In

addition, she assisted in facilitating the

focus groups. She also volunteered to be a

mentor to 3 students involved in the job

shadowing program at RHS, and represented the agency at the Chamber luncheon sponsoring the activity.  Ana continues to assist the Hermiston family advocates by completing all Spanish recruitments in a timely manner.  In particular, when we were having a difficult time getting a very young teen recruited; she went to the middle school in Hermiston where the teen attends school and met with the school staff and eventually did a home visit to get the recruitment completed.  Ana also volunteered to help with the agency’s tree at Festival of Trees this month.

Ana is an incredible asset to the family development component.  Not only does she have the education, experience and skills which contribute to her success; but her professional and supportive demeanor create an atmosphere where families can envision success without being enabled.  Ana represents the agency in a very professional and collaborative manner, and she is a pleasure to work with.

Thank you Ana!!!
