Congratulations Arla Gammond!!!

Teamwork: Arla is a wonderful asset to her team.  She demonstrates that this is more than a job to her.  Everyday she comes in with a positive attitude and it shows by her relationships with her co-workers, parents and teen volunteers.  She is willing to be flexible when it comes to changing schedules, helping out at another site or covering someone who is absent.

Leadership: Arla's knowledge of infant and toddler's behavior, abilities and physical needs has benefited this program.  She takes the initiative when it comes to improving the classroom and even though she is not comfortable using the computer she is willing to learn.  Arla comes up with helpful suggestions and activities to go along with the lesson plan.  Many times she will take a project home and finish it on her own.

Outstanding Performance for the

Month Nominated:  Arla made a wonderful sensory bear to hang on the door for the children to explore.  It has rough paws, soft fur, smooth nose, and a squishy belly.  The kids love to feel the different texture on the bear.  She looks in magazines, calendars, and books to help put up bulletin board displays, and pictures around the room.  Her name is the first once called by the children if they need help or just a hug!

Thank you Arla!!!
